David Mrakpor + Kaidi & Rudi

This double bill brings some of the city’s top musicians to the Fox. London-born & based multi-instrumentalist David Mrakpor will be showcasing some of his solo-music. He can also often be seen performing around the city and internationally on various different instruments such as Vibraphone, Bass, Keyboards, Drums, Guitar and David is a member of the 6 piece collective Brown Penny, which is led by saxophonist Cassie Kinoshi. He is also a member of fellow London-based trumpeter Mark Kavuma’s The Banger Factory and is more widely recognised as one half of the Grammy-winning Jazztronica duo Blue Lab Beats.

Born out of spontaneous live creation, ‘Kaidi & Rudi’ is an epic collaboration between the soulful, contemplative singer-songwriter and saxophonist Kaidi Akinnibi and dance-inducing bassist/producer Rudi Creswick. Two long time friends and seasoned session musicans. With subtle nods to indie, jazz, electronic, and soundsystem music all born from being truly together in the moment.
