From her beginning singing in music groups to headlining her sold-out shows, Desola’s journey is proof that purpose and passion can turn a spark into a legacy. In 2014, she stepped boldly into the music scene with her debut album Rest — an intimate, spirit-filled body of work that launched her into the spotlight with a sold-out album launch and a growing fan base.



Since then, she’s carved out a powerful presence in the UK and international music scenes. Her recognitions include the Gospel Touch Music Awards’ “Critic’s Choice” and “People’s Choice” awards, BEFFTA’s Best Gospel Artist, and WWGMA’s UK Female Artist of the Year in 2024. She’s also earned nominations across Africa, from Kenya to Nigeria, highlighting her global impact.



Desola’s voice has graced stages alongside Erica Campbell (Mary Mary) and Annastasia Baker, and iconic venues like the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, Vortex Jazz Club, Hootananny Brixton, and the London African Music Festivals. She recently celebrated 10 years in music with a SOLD-OUT music concert at London’s Dugdale Arts Centre showcasing her new album release Love & Light released this year.
