♿ Accessibility & Inclusion
We’re committed to making the Feral Folk Festival as inclusive and welcoming as possible.
Here’s what we have in place for accessibility:
Accessible Venue:
Freilichtbühne Weißensee is wheelchair-accessible with wide entrances. The main performance area as well as the bar and food truck and toilets are reachable without steps.
Seating Options:
There are two main areas for seating: the amphitheatre-style arena with tiered stone seating, and a flat area at the top near the entrance, which is suitable for wheelchairs and other mobility aids. This is where the food truck and bar are located. This upper level offers a clear view of the stage and is easily accessible. The setup is relaxed and informal — feel free to bring your own blanket or cushion to make yourself comfortable.
Limited Shade:
Please note: shade on-site is limited. We recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle to stay cool and protected. A small shaded area is available near the food truck, but most of the amphitheatre is exposed to the sun.
Companion Tickets:
Free companion entry is available for people with disabilities who require assistance. You can reserve these through the Universe ticket link. Please contact rawson.roxanna@gmail.com if you have any questions or need help with booking.
Toilets:
We have a designated toilet for people with disabilities. We will ensure it’s clean on the day of the event, with running water and soap. The toilet cabin is fitted with handles and the door is wide enough for a wheelchair or mobility device.
Accessibility via public transport:
Weißensee is accessible via tram lines M4 and 12, or bus 156/ N50. If you have a wheelchair or mobility device, the closest tram stop to the venue is Rennbahnstrasse/ Berliner Allee. The venue is about 400m from the Bus / tram stop Rennbahnstrasse/ Berliner Allee. From there, you need to take Große Seestraße. Keep going until you reach a path into the park on the left. (The entrance to the park is opposite Lemgoer Straße). Take this footpath to the entrance of the venue which comes up on the left.
