The undisputed Queen of Nu Cumbia has not rested on her laurels. Known worldwide for hits like Viene de Mi and Chicha Roja, and for her high-voltage live performances, she blends cumbia, chamamé, and carnavalito with reggae, ska, and cutting-edge electronic sounds — creating a vibrant fusion of contemporary global music.
Her new live show, LA YEGROS – Electro Trío, offers a fresh, modern and vibrant reinterpretation of her music, enlivened by the bass of dancehall and the electronic sounds of Buenos Aires club nights. In this powerful trio format — percussion, synth/sampler and lead vocals — she delivers the same explosive energy and contagious joy that have made her live shows famous all over the world, from Buenos Aires to Paris, Berlin, London.
