Pet Needs are a high-energy punk-fuelled melodic rock band from Colchester, UK, known for their explosive live performances and candid, often wry, lyricism. 
Their sound is a dynamic blend of punk rock energy, alternative sensibilities, and catchy, singalong melodies. They have been described as playing ""fractured party music,"" a term coined by frontman Johnny Marriott to reflect the chaotic yet celebratory nature of their sound and lyrics. Their musical influences span across various punk, indie, and rock acts, including bands like PUP, Against Me!, Green Day, The Hives, The Bouncing Souls, as well as artists like The Streets, Jamie T, and Art Brut.
