In 2021, RISE OF KRONOS erupted onto the death metal scene, rising from the ashes of the
well-established band Surface. After 11 relentless years of intense touring, three hard-hitting
albums and an uncompromising dedication to their craft, Surface reached a turning point.

Driven by the urge to evolve and break free from creative boundaries, the band embarked on a
transformative journey to push both their music and themselves to the next level.

This rebirth was a conscious and carefully considered step. Determined to honor their past while
forging a stronger and more focused future, the band adopted the name RISE OF KRONOS - a
tribute to their 2015 album and a symbol of transformation, uniting legacy, evolution and defiance
under one banner.

RISE OF KRONOS stands for a brutal and modern incarnation of death metal, blending the
razor-sharp aggression of Swedish death metal with progressive precision and the raw intensity of
hardcore. As seasoned musicians, they deliver a sound that is both ferocious and refined - deeply
rooted in extreme metal tradition while pushing relentlessly forward.

Lyrically and conceptually inspired by Greek mythology and existential themes, the band explores
the darker aspects of power, fate and human existence. Their live performances are intense and
