London's own symphonic power metal titans return to the capital. Since their debut supporting Tarja, Pythia have been a "power player" in the genre, lauded by Metal Temple (9/10) for their "extreme symphonic power metal" that eschews traditional operatic clichés for a heavier, darker edge. Self-described as "Periphery meets Disney," Birmingham’s Vanitas are the pioneers of "cinematic djent."
