Jari Castillo


Jari Castillo is a dynamic Colombian singer born in the UK, celebrated as one of the most exciting voices in the UK Latin music scene. Her musical journey began in opera and choral music, where her powerful vocals and stage presence quickly gained attention. She has performed at prestigious events and on national television, including *Britain’s Got Talent*, *Songs of Praise*, and the *Festival of Remembrance*, showcasing her classical training and versatility.



Over time, Jari transitioned into Latin music, embracing her heritage and expanding her artistic range. As a soloist, she now collaborates with various ensembles and has graced some of the UK’s top Latin music stages, including the Latino Life Festival. A career highlight includes opening for the Grammy Award-winning artist Lila Downs at the Barbican as part of the renowned La Línea Festival.



Jari is also a key member of Las Adelitas, the UK’s only all-female mariachi band, where she brings energy, authenticity, and rich vocals to the group’s powerful performances. Most recently, she joined the UK-based timba group Timba Británica, continuing to push boundaries and represent Latin music with passion and pride. Her voice and artistry make her a standout figure in the UK’s vibrant Latin music community.
