SOHO JAZZ FESTIVAL 2025 PRESENTS:

Ineza Kershkamp "Ibuka" Album Launch at Alfie's Soho

Ineza Kershkamp launches her debut album, Ibuka, at Alfie’s Soho on Friday 12 September for the Soho Jazz Festival 2025. Born in Rwanda, raised in Belgium, and now based in London, Ineza is a jazz vocalist with a remarkably distinct voice, blending contemporary jazz with elements of neo-soul and folk. Ibuka, meaning “Remember” in Kinyarwanda, is a deeply personal project dedicated to her late adoptive mother, Francine Declercq. The album features heartfelt compositions that explore themes of memory, heritage, and loss, with standout tracks like “Silence” and “Song For My Mother,” the latter showcasing a stirring bass solo by Ben Crane. Ineza's performance at Alfie’s Soho promises an intimate evening of soulful melodies and rich storytelling, capturing the essence of her musical journey.
