Biography
Coldplay is a British rock band formed in 1996 in London, England. The band consists of lead vocalist and pianist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion. The band achieved worldwide fame with the release of their single "Yellow" in 2000. Since then, they have released seven studio albums, including their most recent, A Head Full of Dreams (2015). Coldplay has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the world's best-selling music artists.
Musical Career
Coldplay's debut album, Parachutes, was released in 2000 and was met with critical acclaim. The album featured the hit single "Yellow" and was certified 7x Platinum in the UK.
