He first gained recognition as an actor on the teen drama television series Degrassi: The Next Generation in the early 2000s. Drake released his debut studio album Thank Me Later in 2010, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and was soon certified platinum.
Musical Career
Drake began his musical career in 2006, releasing his debut mixtape Room for Improvement. He later released his second mixtape Comeback Season, which included the hit single "Replacement Girl" featuring Trey Songz. His third mixtape, So Far Gone, was released in 2009 and featured the hit singles "Best I Ever Had" and "Successful". In 2010, Drake released his debut studio album Thank Me Later, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and was certified platinum.
