About Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran is a British singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer. He was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England on February 17, 1991 and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk. He attended Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham and later moved to London to pursue a career in music.
Musical Career
Sheeran began playing music at a young age and was inspired by his family's large collection of records. He started writing his own songs at the age of 14 and began recording his own music in 2004. In 2005, Sheeran released his first EP, The Orange Room. He released his debut studio album, +, in 2011, which was certified 7x platinum in the UK. Sheeran's second studio album, x, was released in 2014 and was an even greater success, becoming the best-selling album of the year in the UK and the second best-selling album of the year in the US. Sheeran has since released two more albums, ÷ in 2017 and No.6 Collaborations Project in 2019.

Sheeran cites a wide range of musical influences, including Damien Rice, The Beatles, Eminem, Johnny Cash, and Bob Dylan. His musical style is a mix of folk, hip hop, and pop. He is known for his use of loop pedals, which allow him to create complex musical pieces using only his guitar and voice.
