NYC’s The Slackers bring their unmistakable blend of ska, reggae and soul back to the stage – a sound the New York Times dubbed “the sound of New York.” Formed in 1991, the band have built a global following across 16 albums, countless singles, and thousands of high-energy shows, remaining as vital as ever three decades in.
Still at the top of their game, their recent releases on Pirates Press Records – including the EP *Money Is King* and the breakout hit “Diskambobulated” – prove their enduring relevance, while their 2022 album *Don’t Let the Sunlight Fool Ya* marked their first Billboard chart appearance.
With a fiercely loyal fanbase and a reputation for electric live performances, The Slackers continue to sell out shows worldwide – from London “Slackfests” to major festival stages – as they return to Europe for an extensive 2026 run.
