Dr. Wook (Kris Douglas) is a Highlands songwriter weaving together folk tradition, Americana grit, and deeply personal storytelling. With The Hollow Pines, his music stretches from stripped-back acoustic ballads into expansive, electrified soundscapes — rich with harmony, lap steel, and a driving rock energy. The band’s upcoming EP Sons & Daughters explores fatherhood, family, and resilience — themes that run like threads through his work.
