What began in 2002 as a small gathering of friends and family has grown into a movement with a heartbeat that echoes through the streets, beaches, and hearts of Margate.

For 25 years, Margate Soul Weekender has stood as a celebration of music, culture, and community — born from resilience, shaped by love, and carried by generations who know that soul is more than a sound… it’s a feeling.
Set against the golden backdrop of the Kent coast, this landmark anniversary brings together the finest in soul, funk, jazz, soulful house, Afro, Latin, Cuban, and R&B a fusion of rhythms that tell our shared story. From iconic acts to breakthrough artists, from beachside sunsets to dancefloors that don’t sleep, every moment is alive with connection, joy, and purpose.
