About August_is_Gone
Formé à Lyon en 2024, AUGUST IS GONE est un groupe de métal alternatif mêlant puissance et mélodies modernes. Influencé par des formations comme Bring Me The Horizon, Architects ou Muse, le groupe développe un univers oscillant entre rock, metal alternatif et sonorités plus pop, avec l’envie constante de pousser ses compositions vers quelque chose d'intense et original.
Après la sortie d’un premier titre, “Drowning In the Unknown”, le groupe enchaîne avec les singles “Shadows Are There”, “Breakdown” et "Burn it all down", qui définissent plus précisément l’identité musicale du projet.
En 2025, le groupe est sélectionné parmi 76 projets pour participer au tremplin stéphanois « Nos Talents sur Scène ». Leur passage remarqué au Clapier leur permet d’accéder à la finale au Fil à Saint-Étienne, où ils remportent le Coup de Cœur Phénomène, leur ouvrant la porte à un concert lors du festival PHNMN Fréquences 2025.
Avec plusieurs titres déjà disponibles sur les plateformes et de nouvelles compositions en préparation, AUGUST IS GONE poursuit son développement entre création, enregistrements et concerts, avec l’ambition de s’imposer durablement sur la scène metal française.
