Guitarist/Singer looking to join or start a reggae/ska band.

I am new to Paris (an American who primarily speaks English) and would like to meet up with some other like-minded musicians. My main interest is in reggae and ska but I have influences in many other genres. Located in Paris 10.

I am primarily a guitarist and vocalist and like to take on lead vocals and guitar. Depending on what is needed/available I of course don't mind supporting as backup.

In terms of reggae some of my influences are: Half Pint, Gnawa Diffusion, Barrington Levy, Sublime, Buju Benton, Mikey Dread, Yellowman, Slightly Stooped, Long Beach Dub Allstars etc.

For ska: The Skatalites, Pietasters, Hepcat, The Specials, Sublime, The Mad Caddies, Streetlight Manifesto, Desmond Dekker, Laurel Aitken, etc.

I have the basic gear a guitarist needs (guitar, amp, pedals, cables, etc.) and some very minimal vocal equipment (mic and cables).
